Christmas : An essay by Rumish Ali Saif, Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, India

So finally Christmas is here. This has been a long and struggling year for all of us. But I would like to keep that corona stuff aside for now. That talk has been monotonous for all of us. Celebrations are low-key this time, but the adrenaline rush for presents is not any less. I wish for two new books for the winter vacation. I have started an early preparation of vanilla and chocolate cookies and am done with the usual decoration of a Christmas tree with lights. Dan Brown books with Robert Langdon mystery and amazing facts about secret societies are all I need for a break from life’s dullness.   So I believe in Christmas magic - actually all sorts of magic and trust me it’s one of those things that spark our thoughts for the urge to know and explore more. Some people think that after a certain age, we become more realistic and less imaginative, but what’s life without a few crazy thoughts and miracles huh?   I see great scientific discoveries and inventions like that spark

Essay on Christmas by Aritra Rai, Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, India

Christmas Christmas tells us that good always triumphs over evil. This festival brings empathy and compassion in people, it   makes them feel that this is the time they should start bringing positive changes in themselves. Sounds of the merry bells and the excitement that is caused in the children is mesmerizing. The most valuable teaching that Jesus Christ gave us was to give gifts to each other, and think about each other with love. Giving gifts to each other on Christmas doesn't mean that we have to give them things, just   treat people with kindness, patience and honesty that will also be a great gift to them.   Aritra Rai Seth Anandram Jaipuria School

A Very Merry Christmas : Christmas Special poem by Ayesha Khan, Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad, India

A Very Merry Christmas It’s snow all around. Christmas is on the ground. Santa will come. With loads of fun. There will be decorated Christmas tree. Everybody will be in glee. But what if there would be no snow. Christmas tree without a glow. Santa with a sleigh. But no reindeer to play. All this will become a reality. If no action is taken honestly. These are the effects of climate change. Global warming is spreading its range. There is a solution. In eco-friendly decorations. Regift, Rethink and Repair. And turn this Christmas from Red to Green , for everybody’s welfare. Ayesha khan, 5A, Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad
