My School, My Pride : A poem by Hrit Sarkar

My school is my pride
with a large ground on its side

It builds upon students’ character
as someone becomes scientist or an actor

Five labs are there in my school
hey! I’m not making you a fool

Oops! I missed out the robotics lab
don’t think that it is a crap

Many sports are performed in my school
that’s why, my school is supercool

Our all 164 teachers being masterpiece
don’t worry! They love peace

All students love their school and teachers
because they have one special feature

The feature is that they do not give up teaching
in these lockdown days’ online meeting

I am happy that my school completed 25 years
and now ,can I say “cheers”??!!

SDG Story Writing Contest : SDGs by Meerab Butt, Bloomfield Hall School, Pakistan

A civilization rides on the shoulders of its youth force. And when the question is of existence or sustenance of the planet as a whole, the children and the youth of the entire world need to come together, think together and act together to make that possible. Let us read what some of them have to say to us through their stories on SDGs, ponder on what they are trying to say, act accordingly and try and change our ways of life. Perhaps this is the only way we can ensure that human civilization is not wiped out of the face of this Earth .
